Do you think that Levi, in a sense loved who Erwin was (as he truely was) or that he loved the false image that he thought Erwin is? Does the fact that he felt betrayed mean that he couldn't accept Erwin as who he really was?

Last question first, I think that the feeling betrayed part came from finding out that something wasn’t what he thought that it was, and in this case, it was that Erwin’s quest to free humanity wasn’t a pure one but had some underlying motive, and that there was something wrong with Erwin when he smiled about knowing that titans were originally human, a very odd reaction at the least. Hence the “so this is what you joined the Survey Corps for” in 51. And this is the point that he’s starting to evaluate, or perhaps more accurately, re-evaluate Erwin and his own perception of what he thought Erwin was like with what he’s seeing before him, so that false image was already broken and I think that Levi had already started seeing into the reality of Erwin. And in the Return to Shinganshina arc, really they were fighting the same conflict, as while Erwin agonised that he might have been putting his friends (during the uprising) and his own selfish purposes over doing what was good for humanity (even as he kept that struggle under wraps till the end), likewise Levi was pushing him to do his duty and/or what was best for humanity (or at least what Levi thought was best), first by trying to get him to stay behind so that he would be alive in order to continue leading the fight, and then by choosing the plan that would result in Erwin’s death.
And so, Levi was well aware of his flaws, and I suppose this is also where the deepest misunderstanding of their story occurs when people believe that Levi chose to let Erwin die because of his shortcomings and that Armin was the better choice for humanity. It’s a very subtle difference that I’m not sure I’m going to be able to communicate properly in that yes, it was because of his shortcomings, but Levi chose to let Erwin rest precisely because he recognised him as a person, and recognised that he struggled and wasn’t some sort of infinitely capable figure, and decided that Erwin the person was more important than Erwin the commander and symbol for humanity etc.
So it’s precisely because Levi loved Erwin for who he was that he chose to let him rest, otherwise, if he could only see Erwin as the image that Erwin was portraying then he would have continued on his path to bringing Erwin back for the sake of humanity.
Thank you for your ask! :)
“Oh, man. Ewan. I just— Every time I went into ADR and saw Ewan’s face I’d like, sneak a picture and send it to him and be like, ‘Dude, do you know how rock and roll you look in this shot?’” — Fabien Frankel, Esquire, October 2022
“Ewan Mitchell [who plays Aemond Targaryen] did really well — he came from a show [called] The Last Kingdom, so he’d obviously picked up a weapon. He had building blocks that we could build on.” — Rowley Irlam, The Hollywood Reporter, June 2023

Hi I'm a bit new here so I'm not sure if this has been asked before. Are there any Eruri fics where Erwin survived instead of Armin? Ty in advance!

Hi Anon, welcome to the fandom! There’s a wealth of of amazing fic and art for you to discover. You probably won’t be surprised to know that authors have been writing “Erwin lives” fics since Midnight Sun was first published in 2016. There are currently 124 Eruri fics tagged Erwin lives on AO3, here’s a few I can recommend…
I also have an older rec list of Titan Erwin fics that’s worth checking out too.
